Located in Bethlehem’s vibrant South Side Historic District, Steel Ice Center is the Lehigh Valley’s premier destination for ice sports and skating programs. Our twin-sheet facility offers a full slate of opportunities for athletes and families alike—whether you’re stepping on the ice for the first time or training at the highest level.
We proudly offer programs in hockey, figure skating, and public skating, including:
- Learn to Skate classes and introductory youth hockey programming through the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth Developmental League
- Private skating lessons and private hockey lessons for all ages and skill levels
- Local, regional, and elite training camps and clinics
- Family-friendly events, themed public skates, and seasonal activities

Steel Ice Center is home to top-tier partners like the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth, Penguin Figure Skating Club, the Lehigh University men’s ice hockey team, and the Polar Bears of Special Hockey of the Lehigh Valley. We’re also proud to offer our own in-house hockey programming under the Factory Hockey brand, supporting players at every stage of their development. Our facility maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment—with customer service that matches the quality of our ice.
Our location—just steps from the SteelStacks campus, ArtsQuest venues, and The Steel Pub—places us in the heart of Bethlehem’s cultural and entertainment core.
